Harmony to the Eyes: Charting Palladio’s Architecture from Rome to Baltimore is an interpretive exhibition featuring copies of all of Palladio’s published works, mounted in celebration of the architect’s 500th birthday. Architectural treatises that inspired Palladio and those inspired by him will be included, as well as contemporary maps and modern computer imagings of monuments described in his guidebooks to Rome. Palladio’s influence in Baltimore will be illuminated with paintings, prints and models of local Palladian buildings.
